Sourcing components for JLCPCB PCBA

Anyone ever had JLCPCB source components outside of the LCSC library (Mouser, for example) for the PCBA service?

Any idea how this process works?

I've done it with other fabricators but that involved working directly with a project manager, never a self-service site like JLCPCB.

Nope. I even ordered just the exact quantity I needed for a project (25 of each part) and I got 25 assembled boards out of it. They didn't drop any on the floor

Appartently you can even ship parts to them if you can't find them through any of the distributors they work with. I haven't tried that option though.
