So I got this from Robert and thought I would tell you guys about it. If you don’t have a current meter this is a great option. If you don’t know what it does it’s simple. It tells you how many amps your pedal is pulling. This makes sure you are giving it appropriate power. While most pedals run at 30ma or less there are a handful of diy pedals that require much more. An example would be the c2c tube pedals. Most of them require at min 250ma and many require 500ma plus. If you don’t supply your pedal with enough power it will not function properly or possibly not at all. This takes out the guesswork. I attached a pic of my recent build of a q-tune that is waiting for a box to give you a demo. I am assuming I did something wrong since I had to put my jacks opposite at the top of the box. There are only a few things to solder but be careful. The power and ground wires are kinda flimsy. Make sure you get good contact. Also it is a tight fit but makes for a great pedal when you’re done. I suggest some dry fitting before eyou assemble and pop it together. once it's in there I don't think you are getting it out. Not easily anyway. If you need one buy one from the ppcb site under tools. It’s a great work bench addition and can help you troubleshoot your builds and supports our DIY Guy. Oh and it comes with everything you need besides solder.
