3-way splitter

I can’t believe I have another build report! I started this over the weekend and finished it tonight. I now realize that I’m more motivated when I have everything I need to finish a pedal which, in this case, I did, thanks to Robert’s excellent faceplate.

The build went very smoothly. It only took me maybe one hour to populate most components and then maybe a bit over one more to wire all the jacks. Maybe two. I wasn’t keeping track. But I am currently in a tiny groove which is exciting.

Besides Robert’s faceplate, I used silver aluminum Tayda knobs and a sand red enclosure drilled by Tayda. It’s so nice to not have to drill holes manually! 😩

Anyways, I haven’t even tested this yet! I hope it works! 🤪

That is a nice looking build. I love those faceplates. I have built pedals just because there was a faceplate available for it.

I don’t use my splitter that often, but it’s fun to pull out and get some parallel fx going.

Wow. you are on fire. The red looks hot with the faceplate. Where's the LED?
The LED is inside the little hole over there. I thought a 3mm LED would pop right through the faceplate, but it turns out to be too small so it would just swim in there, so I just put in a 5mm one but it doesn't come all the way up - sigh. I am not sure how others have made it work. Maybe I will revisit that at some point in the future. If only there were 4mm LED?

Edit: I guess 4mm LED are a thing, I'll get a few next time I order from Digikey.

I love mine, it's the first thing my guitar plugs into. One channel is routed to a tuner, totally out of the signal chain now. The other is my main signal going to me "compressor bank" hahah

Check these out. They used to be for sale in the PPCB store, but it looks like Tayda has them as well. They snap right into the faceplate hole.

Nice clean build @giovanni Does any know if this would work well to split for a wet-dry rig?
Absolutely would work for a wet dry. With the level control for each channel you can also dial in levels for the wet and dry rig then control the overall volume with the master. HOWEVER, I really like how Scott Henderson uses his wet/dry. He has a little gizmo (like like a blend control) on his pedalboard that lets him blend in the wet side. He uses a Suhr Scott Henderson Signature amp with a 4x12 for his dry and a Fender HRD for his wet. But he's got it so completely dialed with his playing style. (Which is somewhat out of this world). He'll hit a note or play a chord and blend in the wet after the attack. If you watch his YouTube video's you can see him contorting and twisting his foot on the pedal board.
I don't know why he doesn't just use an expression pedal.........

Thanks @MichaelW I'll have to give him a lesson. I recently got a Little Sister to go with my Fillmore 25 and have wanted to try doing a wet dry setup. I've been debating using this splitter or the PPCB passive ABY. I would go with the passive ABY in a heart beat if it had a phase reversal.
