Just finished this one up and to be honest I’m in shock that it works lol. This was probably my most challenging build. It was one of those that just seemed like I felt like my soldering wasn’t flowing. Got to where I install the switch and there wasn’t enough distance to use a ribbon cable so I had to use buss wire. I’ve done it before but the board was almost under the switch daughter board. Would’ve probably been a breeze if I’d known the easy way to do it. I also got a new different sized tip and some different wire I wasn’t used to mid build that I couldn’t wait to try so that kinda threw me off a little. But I got her done!
Haven’t played on it long but the short time I did play on it this thing can rock! Nice thick distortion with plenty of harmonics. I immediately played Godzilla for some reason. I’ll update once I play with the gain and lower gain settings a little more.
The red enclosure is SBP new Red Vein. Looks like the red they had before but I never had one of those. I’ll admit it…I’m a knob guy lol, and I just don’t care for these knobs on this pedal. Gonna have to find some different ones.
All in all I’m happy because I would’ve bet my house this one wouldn’t have worked lol! Thanks Sheepy for another great pedal!
