Double Muffin Fuzz

This one was a bit confusing with no build doc for a newbie. A dense board with two pedals. I did a Violet Ram’s Head and a Green Russian. It was really disappointing at first. The Ram’s Head didn’t sound right and there was a huge gain difference between the two. Then I found on the Kit Rae Big Muff site that C11 and C12 were reversed. I subsequently found that same info on this forum. But only after I’d done a laborious comparison of the schematics from Kit Rae and PedalPCB 😳 Once I made that change it made all the difference in the world. Both are very usable and the Ram’s Head has gobs of chewy sustain. The gut shot is before I made the cap change. Not that you can tell with the Wima caps.

I added a gut shot with the transistors installed.

Great job on the decals. love the symbols for the type selection. Clean build (except that one toasty wima cap 😉)!

I don't know if there's any benefit to socketing the transistors for a big muff circuit though. I hate the inline sockets and avoid them.

I’d like to say the cap melted due to my playing but it was me and my soldering iron. Socketing the transistors has become a bit of a standard practice.
