Boss CE1 king of chorus no chorus

Hello! I have a Boss CE1 clone, king of chorus V2 board. I get bypass tone and preamp gain but no chorus sound. I've poked around with an audio probe around the TDA1022 chip and haven't gotten any vibrato/chorus. The chip was from small bear. D2 is omitted because of the DC/DC converter I chose. Any help would be great!

At a loss now. No idea what happened with this whole process of things. I'll happily ship this off if someone wants to take a stab at it (I pay well!). Haven't had this much trouble before and had failed components. Got about 40 pedals under my belt and this has truly stumped me.

So your clock has latched up by the look of it and that's the area that needs focusing on, no clock, no modulation.

You should see a square 0 to -14V square wave at pins 1 & 4 of the TDA.

Given your fluctuating readings I'd suggest giving a solder re-flow first and foremost and checking your ground connection.

Then I'd try taking the BBD out of the socket before scoping the clock to make sure it's not pulling it down.
