I've been so looking forward to building this pedal. But honestly, besides just building it, I was more excited to dive into the DaisySeedProjects repository and man, I was blown away!! So many cool effects already published.
But one thing I've been inspired to look into is a Tape Deck simulator, with Hysteresis Tape Saturation on one side, and, you guessed it, a Doubletracker on the other. Yes, the pedal you're thinking of rhymes with Diamond Nepo.
Now, I am no coder, but with Gemini, a LOT of iterations, the excellent source code from Daisy and bkshepherd, and the hysteresis saturation math from the CHOW Tape Model Github page (https://github.com/jatinchowdhury18/AnalogTapeModel) I was able to come up with a version I'm happy with. Honestly, my mind is blown that it even works! If anyone wants to try it out, you can read about the controls here.
