Almost finished rounding out all the Bjorn circuits on here. This time we have the Resinite Od. Wow! This isn’t an overdrive at all to my suprise! This is much more like a faux fuzz/ragged tweed sort of thing. I’m not quite sure what to call it but it’s great. It can definitely pass as your Jimi fuzz as it reacts well to your volume knob regardless of where it is in the chain.

I have the Sky Blue drive and Snozberry drive and Apple Fritter fuzz left! Can’t wait to give the Sky Blue another go because it didn’t work for some reason the first time I built it. So far the Royal Blue od, Symbolic although not really a Bjorn circuit, Pink Purple Fuzz and Amber Od have all been winners with the Royal Blue and Pink Purple being my top 2.

I’m running out of enclosure color/knob combinations.

I’m loving this pedal! It’s definitely its own thing I don’t have anything quite like it. Highly recommend this one to serve as a faux fuzz/overdrive.

No I wouldn’t say that. It’s just more of a fuzzy drive similar to the Dover Drive but with less gain and more of an amp feel. I don’t know how I managed to build these two together as I had no idea the Amber would be similar. If harmonics are what you’re looking for though I’d build the Royal Blue Overdrive or “Splendiferous Od” which is the ppcb name. It’s a fantastic sounding Od and thankfully not your usual Timmy or TS. Atleast I don’t think I haven’t examined the schematics but it sounds different.

The Fucsia Fuzz is fantastic as well. Give me a little time and I’ll be able to review the Sky Blue Od as well. I have one other pedal I have to build first from a Reverb sale and I’ll be building it. I messed up somewhere on my first build of it so we have a score to settle. You really can’t go wrong with any of Bjorns circuits it seems.

Thank you! I’m no photographer but I do like taking what I feel are good photos. You should see some glamour shots of all my tubes lol. Plus they come in handy should I decide to sell…and good photos definitely help a sale!
