Built this for my wife's nephew "Cooney", a bass player.
Slider pots came from SBP, I like them better than the Tayda sliders.
Enclosure came from Tayda, excellent fit & finish as usual.
This is actually the second set of boards I put together for this build. The first set had an oscillation and no gain, only cut like a passive EQ. After spending time troubleshooting (reflowed EVERY solder joint...) that one I just used another set of boards and started over. On the Pic of the BOM I have the modified values I used. The board that works had the 150nF caps. I'm not sure if it is the cap values that let's this one work or something else, I'm just happy it works. I put the oscillating board away to mess with another day.
This works as it should, with all sliders at 50% unity as the switch is activated. Each slider increases/decreases each band's gain as it should.
Like most of my pedals, this was a one-off build for me-I may make more EQ's but the graphics will be different.
