Pedalnetics Footswitch Designs

Has anyone tried to design the remote footswitches similar to pedalnetics? I want to design remote footswitches for the wanderer, hx stomp, and really any pedal that I have. I have a 3d printer so the casing is not an issue, but does anyone have a picture of the insides of one of these things to show how they usually design/route them? Pretty new to pedal building overall and just trying to save myself some money.

They're literally just a footswitch (momentary or latching depending on the needs of the pedal) wired up to the lugs of a jack or plug.

Wondering more on the parts because the footswitches I have on me definitely are bigger than the footswitches that they use in the tiny enclosures they have.

Most of my footswitches as well as my 1/4" plugs are all made for me under my designs/manufacturing contracts; so you won't find the exacts out there on the market. I also custom design circuit boards for even some of my smallest switches.

There's a few knockoffs that have actually shown up by non-US manufacturers (which I think is cool I'm being copied that largely), have some pretty crappy parts/reviews. I've talked to a few people who have ordered them and came to me to complain and the consensus was "not worth it", but YMMV.

The alternative/comparable short footswitch, Suntsu AC05, has been out of stock on Digikey for months. Of course that's only SPST Momentary Normally Open. You need to account for a lot more wirings then just that like Latching on the Wanderer, Momentary Normally Closed for Boss, and depending on the pedal TS vs TRS plug (yes some 1 button pedals use a TRS plug with custom circuitry), or things like SourceAudio's TRRS 3.5mm plug with even crazier wiring.
