I got this one together on the Sequel board. It's a bit much to stuff the switch and associated caps under the board, and in hindsight should have used a micro sized switch, but managed a bit of crammage by cutting the tabs off the bottom of the switch.
I like this thing. It sounds a little over compressed much like the original and it's not particularly articulate so I can see the attraction of pairing it with a Muff. That said I'm anxious to try the final design Chuck came up with. The switch adds some nice variations and could be labeled "grunt", "fat", and "cocked".
Water slide over a Stompbox Parts gold enclosure. I'll fix the output jacks at my leisure, both were reused: one of them looks like it was murdered and the other had to be mounted sideways so as not to ground out on the pot.
And after posting I noticed I have the output plate on the 9-18v side, although I want to pull the chip and experiment a bit with 9v so it may be appropriate...
