    Breadboard a Rat

My 4 LM308Ns from GuitarPCB read around 2.38KΩ between pins 1 and 5. My LM308AH metal cans read over 8MΩ.

    Breadboard a Rat

Speaking of Rat opamps, does anybody know if this is accurate? If it is, it appears the LM308Ns I got from GuitarPCB are not the real thing.

    Transformer builds?

I haven't seen a schematic for it, but the Greer Royal Velvet also uses a transformer. In fact, the same transformer used in the Broadcast.

I really thought tonight was going to turn out different (I Efffffed up)

I personally hate vibe after dirt, but it's totally a matter of taste. Definitely play around with the order and see what works best for you. Or place it in between two dirt pedals for the best of both worlds. 😉

    NPN Germanium transistor circuits?

This. I had a Hybrid MKII from Sola Sound for a bit, and it had an AC127 in Q1. Q2 and Q3 were silicon and had their markings sanded off, but a little research seemed to point at them being PN2222s.

Any experience with Tayda UV pritinting?

There's a massive thread with tons of useful information and people's experiences here: https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/tayda-uv-printing.4245/

    Another Paragon

This is it: https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/paragon-kot.1638/post-12872 That, plus leaving the charge pump out completely.

What should I mod to feed the Paragon(KOT) 18v directly?

Same approach, then you can feed it 18V, so long as your electrolytic caps are rated 25V or (preferably) higher.

    Transformer builds?

Yeah, and I believe they use some Russian germanium transistors as well.

    Transformer builds?

    Sure thing! Here's what I got: VCC = 9.25V VREF = 3.21V VDD = 8.76V Q1 (BC549C) Vb = 2.976V Ve = 2.42V Vc = 6.64V Q2 (2N404A NTE) Vb = 6.64V Ve = 6.77V Vc = 2.86V VCC, VREF and VDD are reference voltages as you see in the Duocast schematic, so I'm assuming they should be the same in the...

Let's just say this hobby is getting more serious, as is my love for treble boosters. 🙊

    Peak component tester add-on

That's exactly what I do. I've been buying large batches of germanium transistors (don't ask), so that breadboard is usually completely full.

    Peak component tester add-on

Nice! I put together something similar on a small breadboard. I hook up the test leads to pin headers. I usually line up all the transistors I want to test on a separate breadboard and leave them alone for a while, then I use breadboard jumpers to connect the tester breadboard to the...
