Haven't built the clones or gotten around to modding my DS-1 yet, but I'm starting to wonder if there is something wrong with it or if it just sounds the way it does normally. the tone knob is mud until like 2 o'clock and the output is extremely quiet compared to my other pedals. Is this normal?

This is what I use too. Current workshop is a carpeted basement… I can only wonder how many leads and components are lost in those bristles.

Yeah I think I'm probably just being paranoid because the humidity has dropped significantly, and my "workshop" is mainly a carpeted area. Can't wait to rip this carpet up in January. I went ahead and scrubbed it already. Hopefully, no damage was done, but I haven't been able to try it out yet.

Thank you! I've been saving the Ash idea for my own HM-2 inspired pedal that is in the works, but after putting this one together I started asking myself if it was even necessary. Might just make a dual pedal with the Muzzle, Murdock Plus, and an added clean blend and call it a day.
