Yeah it's based on the Musket, but with some different resistor and capacitor values, along with, I think, germanium clipping in one of the stages. Do you have a schematic or know all the changes needed to make a Musket into a Blunderbuss?

I took Barry up on his offer two posts up and just got them. It was quick delivery with everything packed carefully. I was also worried about not being able to finish some projects soon and thanks to him I'll have nicer looking pedals than I originally thought.

This was going to be my next build. I have a Daneelctro clone , which sounds good, but I still want one I can mod. Glad I can use Schottky diode for the octave, and this 3rd octave mode with more sustain. What would be the first things to try if I want even MORE fuzz, as I always do?

I also built the MiniMe but had to mod the output stage as it wasn't quite at unity. I've heard some vintage models had the same problem. I then did the easy vibrato mod which sounds good, but also changed the level , as you would expect. I was looking into the cap mod, but I'll have to settle...

I hope you get some help here as the MK1's can be tough to get right, especially for a first fuzz. Leakage will matter here. You may want to buy a set already auditioned for you and even then, use sockets to keep experimenting.

I was always curious about this distortion with clean mix. The "Grunge" side is simpler than the famous guitar version, and half the schematic is switching and buffers.
