    Vampire Slayer DIY PCB?

What power supply are you using with the pedal?

Steddi, Go! - simple tube D.I.

Yeah the main reason I haven't made it available yet is that I'm actually running a little low on transformers at the moment, I may actually have to stop offering them on the website for a bit until I get my next order in about a month. I have 50 PCBs for Steddi Go on hand now, and the build...

    Build Docs Archive?

Had to do some digging and it turned out to be on a different computer, but I found it. Note that this board was not designed as well as it should have been and is prone to oscillation with the gain cranked. This can be fixed with a buffer up front and I designed a footswitch with an onboard...

    Build Docs Archive?

I should still have that one around somewhere, I'll take a look.

    No sound from Nobelium

I always get irrationally upset when people say the Noble is like a B-15 in a box, it has far more in common with a Fender design than an Ampeg design. Glad you were able to get it figured out, and as always a big thanks to @Tassieviking who is becoming our resident subject matter expert on C2CE.

    No sound from Nobelium

Okay, that means you're not getting any amplification going on at V1, so you'll want to start reflowing and checking connections around there. Debugging is a tedious process, but it's worth it eventually.

    No sound from Nobelium

I would highly recommend putting one together as they can be an incredibly useful tool if you don't have access to things like an oscilloscope. There are loads of guides and instructions on the internet like this. If you're confident in the soldering and offboard wiring and the voltages are...

Does this mean you are not using an audio probe?

    No sound from Nobelium

Listening to noise doesn't tell us very much about what is actually going on, you need to send an audio signal into the input. Typically when I am doing audio probing I will hook a looper up to the input so it is always sending something that I can listen for at different points to see how the...

    No sound from Nobelium

Well that's bizarre, R14 is literally the input. If you didn't have anything there then you shouldn't have anything anywhere else, but if you have signal everywhere else then I would expect you to have signal there as well. So if you have a good signal on pin 3 of the volume pot, that's the...

    No sound from Nobelium

Well it sounds like you've checked just about everything I would tell you to off the bat. If you're using known good tubes then that should remove that variable, and a DC7 is one of the best power supplies out there, so you're good there. If you have high voltage measured then you know the SMPS...

Monoprice Stage Right 15W amp rebuild

Almost ready to close this one out. Finally motivated myself enough to re-tolex the cabinet last night. I'm doing new grill cloth as well, but I ran out of staples so I didn't get that finished, that will have to happen tonight. Hopefully I can keep motivation long enough to get this thing out...

Steddi, Go! - simple tube D.I.

For the past several years I've catered largely to bassists, since they tend to be largely underserved in the pedal world. One thing that pretty much every bassist needs is a good sounding D.I., because nobody is going to bring their 8x10 stack to a bar gig for $50. Nobelium is still hands down...

Any awesome secret (enclosure) sanding tips?

I mean when I wanted the nice polished look I would just powdercoat them with chrome 🤫

    No sound from Nobelium

Looks like your signal and ground wires are swapped on the 1/4" output jack. What power supply are you using with the pedal? Are these known good tubes?

It may be beneficial to start your own debugging thread with pictures of your build.

Anyone who built the Wrecking Ball from C2C Electronics ?

I haven't played one or checked out guts or anything, but I've seen them around and met Olly from Tubesteader at NAMM last year, super nice dude with great looking pedals.
