How the hell do you work this stuff out ? How do I even know if a cap sits in the audio path ?

The cap is actually taller also. I could potentially bend and lay on resistors !!!

Hey all, I have just bought some Aion boards that require the caps. Now, the only 1uf box films I have are the size of a small house and I can’t find the size specified. Can anyone recommend what I can drop in ? Will a MLCC be ok ?

I think because I want to order so few it seems very expensive to order the boards. If I was ordering big numbers to sell on pedals, it wouldn’t be so bad.

@VanWhy did you do the resistor mod on this ? I am on a constant G2 journey but just cannot get a pedal to sound like demos on the internet. No issue with the darkness, it’s more the lack of drive.

Thanks for all of your advice. You guys blow me away with your technical knowledge. I will have to test my pedal to be sure but I am certain it’s a touch louder and darker with boost at 0 and volume at 10. At full boost it blows the windows out. Interestingly I run it direct into a Line 6 Helix...
