OTHER Drill PSA save yourself some money

Probably cost more in steel stick, lol. There is also 7 jack holes on the top as well. Under normal circumstances I would just hand wire the switch instead of using the daughter board. With this particular design it’s just not possible.

OTHER Drill PSA save yourself some money

This is my first in a while, but it has happened before and I would be silly to think it won’t again, lol.

OTHER Drill PSA save yourself some money

Short version: Measure all your template coordinates and triple check them. Long version: So a friendly reminder about templates. Measure at least 3 times before you put it on your Tayda drill Dashboard. I recently have been building the Aionfx Lovetone projects and got several enclosures done...

    Q-Tune Build Instructions

Looks good. Page 9 is blank for some reason. Not sure if that was intentional or not.

    Q-Tune enclosure size? 1590b vs 125b

Can we see a pic of the 1590b internals vs the 125b? I am curious to see how tedious it would be around the jacks.

Has Anyone Seen This JFET Matching PCB Project?

Thats nice that it has a spot for smd jfets. They are a lot easier to get now vs through hole so that will be quite handy.

Has Anyone Seen This JFET Matching PCB Project?

When i first started learning how to use eagle i did this circuit for practice. It was small, easy to test and I didnt have to worry about spending a lot of money on parts if i did it wrong, lol. i wanted to do a phaser so it checked all the boxes. I think i found the schematic on JMK way back...

Nobelium - tube bass preamp project

I don’t recall where I saw it (it may even be toward the beginning of this thread) but I am pretty sure Nathan has his XLR output volume mounted on the side near the ground lift switch. I may have also made it up, lol.

Nobelium - tube bass preamp project

So I am not going to pretend like I know if it will function properly or not without the second tube (even though I do know using the xlr out bypasses it in theory). On other hand I can offer some solutions for the volume with the xlr. You could mount it on the same side as the xlr above the...

Aligning PedalPCB drill template with Tayda drill template

The pdf is usually pretty accurate but really more for printing out and using it to put on a box. If you want to use the Tayda service use the coordinates from the drill template and move those over. The Tayda service is great!

Aligning PedalPCB drill template with Tayda drill template

So here are the basic spacing for pedal pcbs. This would follow the 3 knob template and you just add the led and the switch. Your y coordinate would be the same as the lower knob. The x I would measure from the center of the lower pot hole to the center of the switch hole. If I were to guess it...

First Tayda UV print - failed

If you are using illustrator I promise it does get easier. I learned early on if you have illustrator on the iPad it is much easier to do what we need. It doesn't have as many features but it gets rid of a lot of stuff that makes the full blown version a little overwhelming. I use my iPad for...

    Multiple pcbs one enclosure

Fuzzonaut’s build brings up another point you must consider when doing a multi pedal build, what order should they be in? If space allows having an order switch board is a great idea. If there is no room then you want to get that sorted beforehand. A perfect example would be a boost and an...

    Multiple pcbs one enclosure

Thats honestly a bit of a broad question, lol. You can cram a lot of stuff in a 1590bb with some imagination. The biggest factors that will make it hard are the pots. If they are board mounted, like most if not all (not 100%) of the pedalpcb boards, then the length of the board is your biggest...

    REQUEST Power I/O Module Template

Some friendly advice too if you are new to the i/o boards. The jacks that are used should snap into place (pedalpcbboards). Do not solder the power jack in until last. You can do a drop of solder on one leg if you want to tack it in but you want it to be able to shift up and down for final...

    REQUEST Power I/O Module Template

This is what I use for the square hole. Its the common power jack from tayda. Center y is 5.7. The 7 is a little cut off in the pic.
