    MBP Misfit (Ibanez MT-10 Mostortion)

Here's another one I had never heard of but @Guardians of the analog thought it would be right up my alley when he gifted me this board. And he was spot on! I've really been on a roll with early, obscure, Japanese overdrives (a few more build reports to come) and the Mostortion kinda fits...

    Working thru my other projects

Did you solder a ground wire to the cavity tape to a ground connection? (Back of a pot)

    What's on the workbench?

Well according to Schrodingers thesis it can be either or.....or not.......maybe........ :p

    Simply an Angry Andy

Do you have any issues with oscillation when the boost is engaged? Meaning If you have the gain above noon, and the boost also around noon or above does it squeal like a banshee? I built 2 of these in a row and have had the same issue with oscillation at certain settings.

    Eight Ball Overdrive (Marshall JCM800)

Man, just perusing the build reports today and so many really talented folks on the forum doing their own PCB's and graphics. I feel like a dinosaur..........:ROFLMAO: Anyway, here's another really cool pedal. The JCM800 from Marshall's recent series. It sounds surprisingly authentic. Feel...

    Simply an Angry Andy

I thought the original spec was red diffused LED clippers? I just built a pedal using water clear 5mm whites and they measured pretty high vF. Like 2.75v

    Flank Distortion (Bombastortion)

This is another pedal I had never heard of until it became available as PPCB "Flank" Distortion. When I went to go do some research about it I found out that it had been discontinued but used prices were like up near $1000 on Reverb😳. That got me interested in building it even though I didn't...

    Help measuring SMD JFETS

Yah, I just linked it for the pad. It was a random pic. I haven't tried using that tester.

    (another) Sheepy Love/GOTA Boss OD-1

I have the Cirrus in my cart over at Aion. I did built the Frost drive but oddly didn't like it. Too many knobs :p. Now I just received some boards for the "Celestial Screamer". A @Chuck D. Bones circuit, which is a TS with SEVEN knobs!!

    (another) Sheepy Love/GOTA Boss OD-1

Tell me about the Maxon ST-9. I'm on a roll with building some of the old Maxon pedals, OD880, OD855, OD-01, man I love them all!

    (another) Sheepy Love/GOTA Boss OD-1

Well tbh as much as I love the OD-1 for pushing amps and such the SD-1 is better. I have a top secret SD-1 project in the works (on the way from JLCPCB) and if it works out and verifies it may be a better solution. I think Chris would agree that the SD-1 is the more useful pedal.

    (another) Sheepy Love/GOTA Boss OD-1

Well it IS an 808....just an earlier version. The differences to the LGSM are subtle. Wanna build one?

Sheepy Love GS808 (Vintage Dual OpAmp TS808)

Another killer Sheepy Love layout from my best Kiwi buddy @szukalski ! I've been looking for a board for a plain Jane vintage Tube screamer. I came across AionFX's "Stratosphere" project which is a Narrow Box Maxon/Ibanez TS808. This version was only produced for a short time before...

@szukalski is getting so very good with his layouts. I have a few more to post.

    (another) Sheepy Love/GOTA Boss OD-1

I thought about piggy backing on @Guardians of the analog's build report but then thought better of it, hahaha. Here's my version of the same board. (Thanks Chris!) It's about as vintage of an OD-1 as you can get. My other OD-1 is the PPCB "Oddity" which is a later version of the OD-1 with the...
