Digital BBD concept looking for comments and beta testers

I mean, I was closing in on my final analog delay projects and you drop this bomb. Kuddos, but also, goddangit.

Yeah, I'd be down for this.

Why does signal output come from collector and emitter goes to ground?

One other thing to point out - the transistor biasing here is done via feedback through R2 (from C to B). Another common way to do it is with a voltage divider. Here's a good article: https://www.electronics-tutorials.ws/amplifier/transistor-biasing.html

Why does signal output come from collector and emitter goes to ground?

The input and output caps pass AC signal but block DC from getting out of the circuit back to the guitar or out to the amplifier. The 120k resistor provides some signal attenuation before amplification. That's purely a a design choice here. The signal comes out of the collector because this...

    DEMO Harry Klippton's 1590a builds

Thanks ;) A lot of them are fixing to go away soon (to got to 1590B sizes).

DEMO MBP KingMaker Flanger (Pearl FG-01) Demo added

Glad you like it. It's definitely a little different esp. since it has a hair more delayed signal range its contemporaries. And, the Manual control has more impact than the BF-2, IMO. Not better, just a different flavor of flanger.

Looking for some MN3101 clone beta testers (CT3101)

One question I thought of - if you were to make the VGG voltage divider empty through-hole (say 1/8W) instead of pre-populated SMD resistors then would the builder be able to tailor the CT3101 to drive MN320x chips, as well?

Looking for some MN3101 clone beta testers (CT3101)

Well, I'll be doggone. That is definitely a damn mistake on my part. It should be connected to the input OSC pin and it's connected to the output. This was the only delay circuit I had worked on that used a slaved clock so my inexperience at that point is to blame. But, I do remember getting the...

    Madbean Fuzzy Britches

Great! Glad you got it worked out. And, always a good call to use connectors for those darn DC jacks.

DEMO Madbean Fant Pants Jr. and Husky Boy Dual Boost

That's great! I think a 2 in 1 with an order switcher and having both circuits run on the higher voltage of the FP would make a good project. Do you have any problems with running both boosts all the way up? That can sometimes produce nasty artifacts but it depends on which boost circuits you...

    Mad Bean Pedals Burly Bear

Just play upside down! Looks great. It's a really fun little circuit to play with. Lots of crushy crushy tones to be had.

Are you using any type of Gerber viewer to review the files generated by the CAD software? Always a good idea.

Dual EEPROMs and internal algo mods (and possibly hilariously offensive content)

Oh yeah, should have said patch not bank. But, your explanation makes perfect sense thanks.

Dual EEPROMs and internal algo mods (and possibly hilariously offensive content)

I laffed. Then I laff some more b/c I am 12. Also, I may not have read carefully: do you need to power cycle after switching or just change to another bank? Seems like I tried this at one point but I just can't remember the answer.

    PCB Manufacturers

Once you go over 30 qty (at least with JLCPCB) it can start to get expensive with shipping. But, sometimes you can save a few bucks by having them panelize the PCB. It really depends on how big it is.

    PCB Manufacturers

It's unfortunate that domestic PCB manufacturers have chosen to remain uncompetitive with foreign ones in the small businesses and hobbyist category. I would love to give my $$ to a US company but it's just not affordable.

MOSFET Driver after other pedals (impedance question)

Not only that but remove R2. That forms a voltage divider with R3. It will solve the issue I think.
