    Filling pickguard holes

Good call. Yeah, even IF I wanted them on there, the body is small enough that the don’t leave enough space to get a good playing angle

Yeah, I thought ab the whole painting thing and didn’t think spot painting would look good.

    Filling pickguard holes

So for this Bronco bass project I have going, has anyone ever tried filling holes in a pickguard? This came with some J style bridge and pup covers that I don’t intend to reinstall, but don’t want to buy or cut a new pickguard because……cheap. Was thinking JBweld, but am open for suggestions

    4 bit nibble adder question

This forum is for audio circuits used in guitar playing. Not saying that there ISN’T someone on here who might be able to help, but you would have better luck on a more appropriate forum for your project. Or if you are a bot, I don’t want your women.

Stuff you wanted to know but were afraid to ask

The active pre def hits the Thumbsucker pretty hard. See my response to jwin above. I picked the Thumbsucker based on the love it gets from the bass crowd around here. I am old school and jut run instrument to amp so it is by ear alone. But I do still have to ask, if at it’s core a compressor...

Stuff you wanted to know but were afraid to ask

As opposed to the natural ring of the note it is basically a dead thud which I guess would mean the compressor is really clamping down on an extra hot signal, but that is even with the ratio at ab 9 o’clock or lower. The active signal def drives the Thumbsucker into distortion if the threshold...

Stuff you wanted to know but were afraid to ask

Resurrecting the dead here, but compressors…….I get the “on paper” principle of how they work, but what does a compressor do (ignoring sustain functionality) that a basic 6 band eq favoring the treble side can’t? I ask because I have been trying to wrangle a Thumbsucker compressor into what I...

    Strat-o-tomfoolery 2024

That’s mighty fine looking, but I’m more interested in her sister, the one with the gold foils😘. I have been toying with the idea of trying some gold foils or maybe some firebird. What do you think of the gold foils and where did you get them? Glad to see you back in the saddle man!

Is there a board capable of this?

So do you think this would be possible with the PPCB DPDT intelligent relay board with a custom written ATtiny?

Is there a board capable of this?

My attempts at burning ATtiny have been less than fruitful.

Is there a board capable of this?

I think the easiest would be just 1 press to cycle to the next state. Doing # of taps per channel/state would def be cumbersome.

Is there a board capable of this?

Having ideas and need to get suggestions. Ideally this would be a 4 state intelligent relay channel switch off one footswitch. Want to use it for toggling 2 fx loops, state 1-both off 2-loop 1, 3-loop 2, 4-both on. Having the ability to have LEDs corresponding would be exceptional. Anyone seen...

Two builds: Wavelord & Harmonic Percolator

Wavelord + Glasshole 🤌. Have also used the Wavelord to drive modulation on a Parasit sonic reducer. It’s pretty cool, but less than I had hoped. The mill marks on the HP add to the “creeping damage” aesthetic.

    Beginner looking for advice

Get some old boards out of broken electronics and practice your desoldering and resoldering. Get a decent DMM and measure every part. double check your BOM before you place parts and cover over the silk screened ref des or value. Only do one value resistor/cap/board at once. Ounce of prevention...

Advice and recommendations need- what pedal is my customer looking for?

Got a friend who does all the 80-90s power ballad/metal type stuff along with wedding singer. Plays a Les Paul and dual humbucker fender into a Marshall. His go to is a BD-2 into a Mojohand Rook (PPCB Bastion)
