Might be a weird request, but did anyone ever get a copy of ToporLite, I guess preferably v7. Seems impossible to get off the internet now as the Emerex site is really badly maintained and they've moved on to this Delta Design platform.

Another question. There's a couple components I want to finalise my self like ICs and JFETs. Would it be a bad idea, given a lot of the components are already in place, to use a PCB heater to help place the final components.

I thought I would start easy and make a Boss SD-1 clone for assembly. I've found the basic parts cap selection a little disappointing though, they didn't have 18n or 27n for instance. What do y'all do in this instance? Do you eat the cost of the $3 for the extended parts? For me I'm only making...

Follow up questions. Are the values in the circuit tuned to the 2n6429 specifically? I see a lot of the values match the original Neve circuit but not all of them.

Anyway see how in the first "tube" there's a 100p cap? That forms a low pass that rounds off the harmonics. You can additionally add that same value cap to the other two clipping stages. You can populate R6 and R12 with both the resistor and cap to create the same parellel arrangement as C3 R4.

The tone knob isn't accomplishing that for you?
