    Spatialist reverb issue

Ok that makes sense. Once I get into the FV1, how do I know where to go? Like I said it's all silent except 1&2

    Spatialist reverb issue

Or maybe I'm misunderstanding what I would be expecting..... There wouldn't be audio in the power section right?

    Spatialist reverb issue

Yeah I figured that's what was there. So like the diode there is giving me nothing. I would assume this section needs to be functioning for all the digital stuff to work right. Stupid question, but should I be getting an audio signal if I probe the actual power wire going into the board? I'm...

Ok probing it now and not a whole lot is going on. All is well till I get to the FV1 and then only pins 1 and 2 give me any signal. Anything downstream from that is silent. Also silent is the entire chunk of the schematic on the lower left with D1 in it.

No he told me 3 and 7 were tied and either could be used

    Spatialist reverb issue

I had seen that on their site but I want sure what to do with the LED pad on the breakout board since the PCB has a spot for it also. I emailed the guy before I finished populating the PCB to ask and got this reply, which is what I had used to wire it

    Spatialist reverb issue

No the breakout board on the following itself, nothing on the PCB. Sounds like I might need to flip the board on the switch

    Spatialist reverb issue

Yeah that's my fear because its going to be a pain to desolder and flip. I'm going to wait to see if the guy from Stompboxparts emails me back about it's intended orientation but that seems like it's probably wrong. Thanks for all the help!

No-go on working still. Pin 2 of the mix knob reads 4.41v

    Spatialist reverb issue

I think you were talking about the pin down and right of center, right? It does look unsoldered in that pic but it's just the lighting. Here's a better shot of it

    Spatialist reverb issue

Which pad/pin? That's a new one for me.... What can I do about that, if anything?

    Spatialist reverb issue

Damn. I just saw my LED leg was touching one of the pots. I rechecked the FV1 and I have 3.3v on both those pins now...... That wouldn't explain the problems I'm having on it but just how I had it laid out on the table while checking that FV1 ground it apparently.
  13. J

    Spatialist reverb issue

    3.3v on each

I was basing the orientation off of this diagram, so if the diagram is correct then what I had listed is right. Just double checked it again.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm coming to figure out that PCB builds might be harder to diagnose than Vero boards where it's all laid out right in front of you lol
  16. J

    Spatialist reverb issue

Yeah I figured that wasn't right.... Anything on the ICs sticking out as odd to you?
  17. J

    Spatialist reverb issue

FV1 is at 0v on both, and the rest are shown below
  18. J

    Spatialist reverb issue

Going to do that now. Would the rotary voltages depend on where the switch was in it's rotation? Is there a best way to measure those?

Stompboxparts board. I believe it's in right, but that may not be the case. All I can tell you for sure is that the LED is off in bypass but comes on when engaged, for whatever little that may be worth. For future reference, how would you know which way to put one on if it doesn't say "text up"...

    Spatialist reverb issue

That's what I would have assumed, but the square pad on the board goes to lug 1 (FYI I had lug pots on hand so I'm wiring them in instead of mounting as you normally would)
