Here's a follow-up gutshot, having trimmed the legs of those LEDs. I just spent a few minutes amusing myself by watching them light up depending on how hard I hit the strings. Which was actually a pretty helpful way of seeing how they affect the sound.

I usually do that but I grabbed a bunch of 16Vs so I need to use 'em up.

That's what I thought. I don't usually try running anything over 9V.

Just one more thing... 16V is OK for the E-caps on this thing, right? I looked over the schematic and couldn't see anything that looked like it might be a problem, but my talents lie in other areas so I could be missing something important here.

I put a 1uF fat capacitor on the other side of the PCB on my Dark Rift. Could have done it better and will do a better job next time I need to do that, but it works and is problem free so I'm calling it good.

The original one for the Mama is still not working. I've tweaked a few templates to my own preferences, and I'm a bit OCD, so I haven't had a problem so far.
