I put a 30K in mine - actually thought it was a typo in the doc :ROFLMAO: It sounds great, but now I'm intrigued - how much of a difference does it actually make?

Sorry to bump this old thread, but was just really intrigued by the idea of using the backplate as the front. When you mount the pedals in your board do you use some kind of railing system and mount them without the rest of the enclosure?. Or how do you do the wiring in the board?

Thanks a lot guys! Boy, that etching stuff looks cumbersome. Focks.nl is not too far away from me (I'm in Denmark), so I'll see if they can do it at a reasonable price. This sent me down a rabbit hole in the laser world - oh boy, do I want a laser engraver now :-)

Welcome Till :-) Besides pedals I've also built a couple of the Gyraf projects (the genius Jakob Erland behind Gyraf is a local guy here in Aarhus, Denmark), so maybe it's time for me to finally build an amp as well :) Did you order directly from Rosamp? And is it compatible with EU voltage...

Same - my 13 year old is moving from level 3 to level 2 on that scale (hadn't heard about it either) because of a lot of hard work from both him and us :)

Yeah - I know about the part tolerances etc, but I have two MT-2's here and I can dial them to sound very close to identical, but what I meant was that it's extremely difficult to do, because it almost feels like just touching a dial makes the sound jump quite a lot. The build doc for the GCI...

Does the W pots makes it less sensitive? On the original MT-2 the pots are extremely sensitive - if you have two units side by side it's almost impossible to match the same sound because of the sensitivity of the eq pots
