    Pedal in a Zyn can?

Discontinued you say? Covid get him? I feel like it wasn't that long ago I saw those in a store.

    Pedal in a Zyn can?

Maybe boss tone style with one male and one female jack? Though you're going to have zero shielding in a plastic tub. Maybe upgrade to a metal can

adding fx loop to old peavey amp?

I would probe that point and see what your signal level is. I'm going to guess all those 2sc1740 gain stages that it's gonna be a little hot for pedals.

A new-production BBD, with added features!

Note, the 1799 goes from 1kHz to 33MHz, hence the one resistor(in series with the pot as a variable resistor between pins 1 and 3) Edit: oops, completely ignored the DIV pin Probably still need a resistor though.

A new-production BBD, with added features!

I think the LTC1799 would be a suitable clock. It, a pot, 1 cap and 1 resistor is all it would take to have variable clock. From the SoundSemi datasheet The clock input (pin 8) is compatible with TTL and CMOS logic levels in both 5V and 3.3V systems. It should be driven by a square wave with...

Fun with CMOS - part 1 - The CMOS Raincoat

I'll order a few on the next Mouser order and put them on adapters. Or promptly forget about or lose them.

Fun with CMOS - part 1 - The CMOS Raincoat

Anyone tried a current production On/moto MC14049UB? Wonder how they perform in the noise category

    Overthinking a simple latching circuit

Don't forget the pair of isolated terminals labeled "DONT LICK" to teach them the importance of reading and following direction.

A new-production BBD, with added features!

Was kinda taken back by that as well. I'd be curious what the spectrum looks like and if it's impacted by lower clock freq. I think both the noise and 5v could be better fixed via compander/expander or pre emphasis/de-emphasis

That opamp looks shot and did you sand through the solder mask below it? If both dry and fx are low, Id check the inputs of the summing stage onward with an audio probe.

SOLVED Arachnid V2 - No Reverb / No Delay, everything else works

Is it certain program numbers that don't work. I.e. programs 5-8? If so, it's probably related to the diode logic and/or their connection to the fv-1

The Neunaber algos are really top notch. Like a Briscasti M7 in a pedal. Really hifi and detailed. My oceans 12 hasn't seen power since I got the Illumine. Well, not as nice as a M7 but the Illumine is to a RV-x as a M7 is to a MidiVerb. The reverse algo is by far the best pedal reverse verb...

I really like my Red Panda Cotext² (grated toward 80s digital racks) and LOVE the Neunaber Illumine. It does everything. Rev500s have dropped to ~$200 if you want to menu dive.
