2 pcbs, order switcher, but ONE footswitch…

I wasn’t even thinking about a status led, but I like the idea of a bi-color! What you now got me thinking about (obsessively) is bi-color leds on the pcb’s spdt switches. In this case the simulcast’s on-off-on and the general tso’s on-on 🤔 Edit: shit would the on-off-on even be able to light...

2 pcbs, order switcher, but ONE footswitch…

Thank you! Saw this when I was at work and came up with this as soon as I got home… Looking close?

2 pcbs, order switcher, but ONE footswitch…

I’ll have to try and draw something out for confirmation. Little confused haha @Erik S might be right!

2 pcbs, order switcher, but ONE footswitch…

I’ve done 2in1’s with an order switcher, but a buddy wants a compressor and a preamp with an order switcher, but both turned on by 1 footswitch. I’ve seen the diagram that shows the 2 to 1, but how would I incorporate the order switcher into that?? Tim

SOLVED Caesar Chorus, both leds working, but ZERO sound at all…

Not the jacks…I have signal when pedal is bypassed.

SOLVED Caesar Chorus, both leds working, but ZERO sound at all…

Wouldn’t I at least be getting some dry signal when the pedal is engaged if it were the trimpot? Hooked it up and was going very slowly, but nothing. Fully CCW got little pops and static. Little more static pop around 1 o’clock 🤔 but no actual signal when engaged, only bypassed

SOLVED Caesar Chorus, both leds working, but ZERO sound at all…

The scratch is what I was thinking it could be. It’s right in the trace of IC2 and the trim

SOLVED Caesar Chorus, both leds working, but ZERO sound at all…

Wired her up, and got nothing. Reflowed solder. I don’t have a DMM because the only issue I usually have with builds is forgetting to check the led cathode/anode 🙄. D1 & D2 are throbbing. I’m getting signal when it’s bypassed. While turning the internal trim, I get slight “pops” in certain...

    Skeptical buffer high pitch sound

I had the same issue with this pedal. High pitch frequency when engaged. Most notable when the harmonic & bright switches are engaged.

EEPROM Builder…I’m sorry if this is dumb…

Oooh I was mixing up P1 with what I’d imagined was the potentiometer on the main circuit board.

Look something like this in the end (excuse the sloppiness)

EEPROM Builder…I’m sorry if this is dumb…

I actually JUST came across guitarpcb’s 2 knob job and thought that could be used. The diagram is a little confusing looking lol like obviously the P1 pot would stay on the main board, so is that running wires from the P1 terminals & the abc terminals to the desired pot’s lugs on the...

Or maybe even some of ppcb’s relay switching modules?

EEPROM Builder…I’m sorry if this is dumb…

Hmmm. I guess in my head I was thinking I could just have one side of the momentary run to pin 21 of the FV (POT1 input/feedback/dwell control) and the other side with a resistor to ground…would that not change the resistance seen to pin 21 on the FV

EEPROM Builder…I’m sorry if this is dumb…

Oh no, I wasn’t trying to mod anything in those 2 pedals. Was just stating I had some small experience with the fv-1 and having to source parts, etc

EEPROM Builder…I’m sorry if this is dumb…

My first thought when I realized the EEPROM was a thing, was a Pythagoras circuit with let’s say delay, reverb, and chorus. Off the top of my head, I believe control 2 for all three effects is feedback & depth. I would like momentary there for quick oscillations, large reverb bursts, and trippy...

I have successfully finished a leprechaun and a circulator from PCB so far though 🤷🏻‍♂️

EEPROM Builder…I’m sorry if this is dumb…

Excuse my ignorance, but this 3.3v source…is that a module I’d need for the switch to work or a spot on the board I’d need to find? My background is BYOC builds and just modding them with momentary switches as I described earlier. I can hardly read a schematic, but I’m addicted to YouTube...

EEPROM Builder…I’m sorry if this is dumb…

Ordered one lol now I’ve just gotta dig through here to find momentary switch diagrams…assuming an fv-1 needs more than the normal hooking of up lugs 2 & 3 to whichever pot you wanna control.
