After finding this post, I decided to follow the original and bias Q1 Drain to 1.875 VDC. It definitely changed all my settings. Sounds a little cleaner at extreme settings.

The Fingers OD is a super under-rated pedal. For low to medium gain fans, Timmy Variant fans, etc, definitely worth building!

I never considered that may be a reason why I generally don't like treble boosters. I might have to revisit the 1/2 dozen or so I've built running after my Anti-Buffer pedal.

Well, if you have a lot of fuzzes, which is why I built it in the first place, then the pedal makes more sense because you can use it in different applications, with different guitars, etc. The transformer is pretty small, you could easily tuck it in most guitar cavities.

This is the wire I use, it's solid core 24awg but I guess the PVC sheath might be bit larger than most. But I've been using it for so long that it looks "normal" to me hahah.

I dig the sanded look! This is a great very very transparent boost, but I still hear a little sumpin sumpin going on when it's on. I don't use mine much as I use boosts to sculpt my sound and tend to use boosts with a little more color. Great solution for the pot!

Not really, I’m still not completely sure I’m not imagining what the “limiter” does. You’re better off using a lightweight transparent compressor.

The Mach 1 is a favorite standby of mine. It's ALWAYS in my chain. And it's also Timmy based but it's a much leaner sounding pedal. Great for low gain applications.
