Per @DGWVI, omitting R1 and C4 keeps the gain as low as possible without getting more intricate with modding (which as mentioned, he has and I eventually intend to do).

Necro'ing again to second Neil's inquiry. I'm in love with the touch-sensitive, weirdo modulation of this circuit but even with my added gain knob at zero there's some breakup/a sort of thinning tonally. Would love to just replace it with a switch that compensated for the volume loss.

Awesome. Which of the footswitch solder pads on the IRB board goes to which SPST switch lug? Or does it matter? And for the on/off side, the IN and OUT are going to the tips of those respective jacks instead of using the equivalent In/Out solder points at the top of the Leprechaun PCB?
