    Depth Charge (on vero)

    I cast my vote :)

    Depth Charge (on vero)

Beautiful pedal :) I’m surprised there’s not a pcb for this around. Trent Renzor having used it etc.

Meatballs are the best pizza topping. Fight me! (Aion Lovetone Meatball)

Here is the 2nd of my four planned Lovetone builds. I’m not entirely happy with how the jack situation went… the jacks I normally use for input and output would not fit, the expression and loop jacks needed to be turned on their side… I accidentally drilled the trigger jack in wrong spot (thank...

    Harmonic Percolator (with some mods)

The pedal is 11 out of 10 but the write up is so good it broke the scale. Thank you for taking the time to share all this :)

There are many like it, but this one is mine. (Duo-Phase)

Interesting. I wasn’t hearing ticking in my normal use. I searched for the ticking issue to see if I can replicate. I can, when bypassed, when I turn the volumes on my monitors and preamp way up. So it’s there below or in my normal (very quiet) noise floor. It only seems to be the input side...

    Klein Knect Tools

Love Klein. I’m going to pick one of these up. In my main bench kit I have a Klein 11 in 1 screw driver that gets used constantly. Also I keep trying to replace my Klein wire strippers for something a little smaller for working inside a stomp box - but nothing can beat the Klein for speed and...

There are many like it, but this one is mine. (Duo-Phase)

I’ve wanted to build this for a while. Easy build really, zero problems, plugged it in - it just sounds great. Likelly it’ll be a permanent resident in the stereo part of my chain after a UAFX OX Stomp. Color laser film free on a winked silver xx.

May the Fuzz be with You

I’m a film free enjoyer, but never tried waterslides. Sounds like water slides would be a step back from film free then. 👍🙏

    Beautiful :)

    Parasit 1985 and Theremin Fuzz

My second two Parasit builds. Both came together easy peasy. The enclosures are Pantone Cool Grey 2 C from Tayda. Laser film free. The 1985 does the arcade bleeps and bloops rather well: The Theremin Fuzz sounds epic with delay and reverb:

May the Fuzz be with You

Both turned out fantastic! I might need to try waterslides … have you tried film free too? I’m curious how they compare.

    Lovetone Big Cheese (Aion FX)

I would agree it’s in a similar space as the Expandora. I love the Expandora I built too. I thought about doing a Cheese Source but all the demos I listened to of the Brown Source didn’t light my butt on fire. Maybe after I finish the other Lovetone pedals I’ll revisit the Brown Source.

    Lovetone Big Cheese (Aion FX)

The first of my four Lovetone builds. It came together easy. It’s a fun pedal, highly recommended. I’m working on the Meatball next :)

Uni-Drive (Aion FX) and Uni-Fuzz (PPCB) pink pair

I ordered a set of pastel pink 125b enclosures and wanted to put something special into them. I’ve been considering the Uni-Drive for a while based on use by Page and my good friend loves his Danelectro Breakdown. It’s a great “more” boost. The Super Fuzz… it’s my one true love. I have many...

Which soldering iron do you like?

I’m not smart enough to explain the science but soldering using an induction system feels way more consistent … and even more consistent across different thermal masses. Soldering a switch lug is basically as fast-easy as a resistor lead.

Which soldering iron do you like?

    Induction soldering feels like cheating.

    Parasit Raygun and Arcadiator

The first of my Parasit builds. I like to rock before box normally, but for these two I built into the enclosure because of the multiple toggles on the Arcadiator and the rotary on the Raygun. The Arcadiator is probably my least favorite Parasit build so far. Not that it’s bad, but the others...

Champion Fuzz Unit (built on PPCB Shika board)

This came up in a Muff variation thread as one to try. I used the schematic and specs here: https://faustone.com/fuzz_unit.html It won’t knock my favorite muff the Mayonaise off the throne but it’s unique sounding and worth building. More dynamics, more ‘immediate’ than your average Muff.

PPCB Two Tone Fuzz and Aion FX Solaris

It's a velcro type fuzz, it sounds good on guitar too (used by the Muse guitarist). For bass a good example would be Air's Don't Be Light where Justin Meldal-Johnsen absolutely destroys with it. The Penumbra gives you the extra control from the Mastotron version plus the pick up simulator.
