    Skidmark Sonofier: "Songifier Boost" (w/Gerber)

Also I just discovered your Github repo! Thanks for all the work you put into that. And I didn't know that Cees passed last year :(

    Skidmark Sonofier: "Songifier Boost" (w/Gerber)

Love the birds again! I built the Sonomatic Deluxe Delay, and I quite like the boost on it even without any delay, ala an Echoplex.

A new-production BBD, with added features!

I came across this new BBD IC on Guitar Bomb (and only a dollar or so apiece!), it seems like it could enable a lot of neat new DIY delay and modulation effects. I'm not quite the target audience, to be designing new circuits with it, but I look forward to all you smart people doing cool stuff...

    Thinner enclosures for easier drilling

Personally, I haven't ever even noticed the thickness of enclosure when drilling, I just drill. I use step bits, so I am more focused on hitting the number of steps I need for a given hole, so I think that means the total thickness doesn't come into play for me. I use a hand drill as well. But...

Any luck getting these made? Though with tariffs idk how feasible JLCPCB or any of the overseas fabs are anymore....

    "That" Compressor: Dipper Compressor (w/Gerber)

I approve this necro bump, and I want to reiterate that these bird builds are the shit.

    Sib! Mr Echo

Neat! Do you have a schematic? I've always heard good things about it and wouldn't mind trying it.

Deadend FX Eva (Spaceman Gemini IV)

Looks killer! How's it sound? I like the idea of both sides, and Spaceman is usually top-notch stuff.

Heh Killer build, and quite unique! I've never even considered building a 12 string, but now I may!

It's alive! I've very much enjoyed watching your progress on this, and all the details you've shared.

I was hoping we'd get more leg room, clearly not. :)

    Vacuum-dehydrating hygroscopic components...

Is the TC-1 reliable for leakage measurements? I feel like I remember hearing it was not, but I don't know for sure.

    Vacuum-dehydrating hygroscopic components...

Also I was convinced the post title was randomly generated and would totally be spam, but turns out it's totally accurate! :)

    Vacuum-dehydrating hygroscopic components...

This is an amazing experiment, and i can't wait to see how it turns out. Could you coat the transistor bodies somehow to keep moisture out? Seems like even a thin coat of wax would help.

Possible stupid question on the EP preamp pedals…but imma ask it anyways!

Curious about this too. I know the original EP-3 preamp circuit used around 22V, and they do intentionally include this in pedal recreations, but I'm not sure how it's being used if the transistors are being biased lower than half that. I'm tempted to see what the transistors in my real...

Wiring a 3-way diode clipping switch for a Rat?

Using the Filter pot's lug is genius, never would have thought of that! Now I need to figure out the best grounding point for the vero board, I guess I could just run it to one of the jacks? Seems easier than trying to tie into the PCB. Thank you!

Wiring a 3-way diode clipping switch for a Rat?

Actually, I think I know how I'd do the Ruetz mod, just run resistor to one lug and resistor PCB pad, center lug to other original resistor pad, and the other lug empty.

Wiring a 3-way diode clipping switch for a Rat?

Hey all, I am building a Rat/Muroidea for a friend, and I want to add a switch using 3 pairs of different clipping diodes, like so: This may be obvious/dumb (heh, *may*), but I get the principle, but not how to actually wire up the switch. I am using an SPDT On/Off/On like this one, which I...
