Can anyone recommend a tube screamer

I like the Ibanez ST9 and Super Tubescreamer. Both use a sweepable frequency mid boost (247Hz to 3537Hz) to alter the character of the TS. On the lowest mid setting it resembles a Lightspeed to me, at the highest it sound like treblebooster after the TS. The Aion Cirrus makes it selectable...

Should I let my pregnant wife help me populate PCBs?

I don't see any medical reason for short time tasks. I had very good experiences working with my daughter. We did a ukelele and a Cajon together. Double Overdrive choices

My approach now is to combine a strat enhencing low gain overdrive with a not too nasty distortion and this goes into a Foundation pedal. Not new, but approved. The specific pedals still vary, so I doubt I'll ever box that.

    What is this?

A Wire pot i think. There is a unisolated wire very evenly wound around a high ring and the wiper turns 300 degr. around on the inside touching the wire. Built this way it should be linear.

Cable for Guitar & Speaker Cabinets

A friend played a WGS Veteran with a WGS Retro in 2x12 cab. The Veteran is also a lot smoother, but with the same mid push.

I gave the V30 a run, too. Unpleasent harsh and middy. I happily live with a vintage G12-65 now.
