I meter every resistor I use. This comes from the times I used 5% ceramic films from a bulk purchase.

Its a difference of 6 percent. My carbon film resistors even have 5 percent.

A Wire pot i think. There is a unisolated wire very evenly wound around a high ring and the wiper turns 300 degr. around on the inside touching the wire. Built this way it should be linear.

What a let down. But you compare US made wgs with china made Celestions pricewise, i guess.

I had a one to one comparism of the ET65 and my vintage Celestion G12-65. They were incredible close or more: simply not distinguishable.

A friend played a WGS Veteran with a WGS Retro in 2x12 cab. The Veteran is also a lot smoother, but with the same mid push.

I gave the V30 a run, too. Unpleasent harsh and middy. I happily live with a vintage G12-65 now.
