    Two Tone Fuzz transistor layout?

How about the Q1-3 order? I put sockets on mine and forgot to see if they were listed on the silk screen since there is no build doc.

    Pedals for Banjo

The obvious and only choice is to make him an HM-2, for banjo of course.

    Skreddy Screwdriver

Yeah man, totally was just a random buy for me. The build doc says that it's been a staple on his board, so I was definitely interested. Majorly pleasantly surprised, it sounds SO damn good!

    Skreddy Screwdriver

I have a PRS Custom 24 08 that I absolutely adore. I'm able to play it better than any of the other guitars I own. Problem is, it is the most insanely honkiest guitar I've ever played, when played using overdrive. Tried EQ pedal, changing pickup height, changing action, settings on amp. After...

    Component Values +/-

Does it matter/make a difference if a schematic calls for R14,017 to be 10k, and I use 9.91? Or as long as it's in the scope of the +/- tolerance and doesn't make a difference?

Dunlop DVP4 Mini Toe Switch Mod

@TucsonSean is that schematic you provided for modding the Dunlop volume pedal? I just picked up the 5 last week and it would be awesome to add a on/off switch to that

Passive AB with 2 LEDs (or a bicolor) - how do YOU wire them?

In your drawing, do you have the - leg of the LEDs going to the sleeves of the jacks as well as the poles of the switch?

What made you a good guitar player?

100% without any hesitation, a looping pedal. I have the boss RC300. Use Track 1 for a drum track that I make using Toontracks, Track 2 is always a bass line I play on my guitar using a Roland GR midi pedal, Track 3 is guitar chords or layered chords/notes/sounds. Then I solo over the top of...

    Boosters and SS amps

I prefer OD into Boost, and that's how I've set up all of my dual drives. I like the "boost" in volume, better note definition, and clarity.

    Boosters and SS amps

He's all sold out, but I love GPCB Afterblaster and Stage 3 Boost. Almost every OD pedal I've built recently, has a tweaked Stage 3 (I use different resistors to attenuate). That way, each pedal has it's own dedicated boost, so I'm not constantly having to futz with any knobs on a boost when I'm...

    Heat Shrink Size

Just buy this for $6.99 and you never need to worry about the size of anything. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BG6V4HV4?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

    Nutty Fuzz: Planning a build

I bought a cheap caliper from Harbor Freight and did my measurements with that. I absolutely love this circuit/pedal, but it's a bitch to tame. The oscillation is totally out of control. If you're not using an expression pedal/slider, you've lost all control. Even then, it's still an untamed beast.

    Volume Pedal

Looking to do project this weekend and want to use an empty wah shell to make a passive volume pedal. I use mostly humbucker guitars with 500k pots. What would be a proper value pot to use in a passive volume pedal? Also considering throwing a GPCB Afterburner in there and using that as the...

    Understanding Potentiometers

I read the Life of Pots within the 1st week of getting into pedal building, almost 2 years ago.....and read it again.....and again haha. I appreciate any and all information. Learning on the internet is hard for me. I'm better doing it in person, because I always end up with so many questions...

    Which Zener?

@Robert thanks for clearing that up. Always learning!

    Which Zener?

So if a circuit has a zener diode over 9v, that allows for protection to run the pedal at higher voltage, like 12v?

So decreasing a pot gives me tighter more refined control over a circuit? Or am I getting this totally backwards?

How long does PedalPCB typically take to restock something sold out?

Great news Robert, always appreciate your hard work a ton. The circuits I've built from your collection have drastically changed the way I play and have given me tons of new inspiration for recording new music I probably wouldn't have created without the circuits you've traced and I've built.
