Can I Sell My Builds to Make More?

On a related note, I just got an email from a well known and reputable manufacturer about a flaw in their bass compressor, and they backed it up 100%. No matter what happens, they're going to make things right. This makes me really happy I've purchased from them in the past, happy to recommend...

EXAMPLE Arduino Template for Terrarium PCB

This was my problem. Thanks for pointing this out, not sure how I breezed by this key bit of info ( trying to do 10 things at once, perhaps... ). All is well, and thank you again!

    1kHz noise with Terrarium board

Oh, hah. I see your link now. Sorry... I should probably put on my reading glasses more often!

    1kHz noise with Terrarium board

Here's the thread mentioned above (I think). Might be most straightforward to just up the sample rate to 96Hz to see if the noise moves to 2KHz with the change, @sonic_explorer. Blocksize looks to be hardcoded in the Arduino setup, so if you're using this, you'd want to noodle with the .cpp...

    1kHz noise with Terrarium board

Looking through DaisyDuino.cpp default blocksize is 48 and the default sample rate is 48KHz, so 48000/48 = 1000. And in AudioClass from DaisyDuino.h: inline float get_callbackrate() { return get_samplerate() / _blocksize; } So, maybe that holds outside of the Arduino context as well, I'd guess.

EXAMPLE Arduino Template for Terrarium PCB

Ok, thanks for these examples. Just wanted to be extra sure I'm using the audio callback as intended, and I am. I've got output from the Terrarium from my code, just no input. Guess I know what I'm doing this weekend now!

EXAMPLE Arduino Template for Terrarium PCB

Do you happen to have an example for a simple audio passthrough? I've modified DaisyDuino.h and added a daisy_terrarium.h pin definitions file to make things easier to work with ... all seems well, but my attempt at a simple passthrough suggests I've got hardware/soldering problems that I...

LED/LDR Question for optical trems & compressors

This is the spectral response curve of the KE-10720 LDR: In this case, a yellow LED is a good fit to maximize the response:

    Friday 13th Doom Hole...

"They also sell pretty anodized toggle switch washers." I was just searching for these online and not having much luck. Yeezzzz, oh sweet serendipity. Thanks Dan0h and Chuck! That UV LED is really cool, btw.

    No switches but 24 knobs?

If in the next iteration there were several free GPIO pins that could be conveniently exposed by a header, that'd afford all kinds of flexibility. Rotary encoder and an OLED display would be powerful add ons, for instance.

    Caesar Chorus

Looking good. I just picked up some of those black sand finished enclosures, too. Oooh, yeah. I'm really looking forward to giving this chorus a go.

How to set up the Daisy in Arduino?

When you "git clone", you're copying the current state of a git repository to a directory on your local filesystem. Subsequent synchronization with that repo can be accomplished with "git pull" from the command line while inside that same directory. In other words, to get the latest updates to...

How to set up the Daisy in Arduino?

No, I got some other code that I wrote for an Adafruit ItsyBitsy to work along with a 3rd party library that had some potentially concerning dependencies (which I managed to not encounter). If it can't find "daisy_petal.h", a quick scan of Electosmith's repo suggests that you're missing...

How to set up the Daisy in Arduino?

Adding these files in the Arduino IDE amounts to using an #include directive: #include <myinclude.h> #include <blah.h> When you select Sketch->include library this is what's going on. It will search the path under Arduino/libraries and pick up the include files when you build the program and...
