Yeah, that would only have fit in a 1590DD.

Zubaz! Nice job. I did almost the same build (except with the smart relay switching) and mine is a tad noisy so I may go back and try shielded cable.

NTE Electronics has gone out of business

Can you still get them direct? I'm always looking for a good deal. I wonder if they have any going out of business type deals out there

    Pedal storage

Just came to say thanks to @bean for this tip. I ordered one of these and it works great. I already ordered another one to fill up with the rest(?).

    UwotM8 Distortion

Good call. Thanks for the link. Man, 2010 doesn't seem that long ago but it's almost 15 years!

    UwotM8 Distortion

Interesting little distortion box. I was just looking for something different so I decided to try this one out. I have no idea what the original name means (PisdiYAUwot) or what UWotM8 means for that matter. Either way this one reminds me of a modified Red Llama tweaked for higher gains...

    Powersound Boost C9

Good call. I may just throw sockets and try both. I don't think it would make too much of a difference with either value but I'll have to test.

    Fuzzy fox transistor sub

FWIW I got legit 2N3565's from Small Bear for $1.75 each. https://smallbear-electronics.mybigcommerce.com/transistor-2n3565/ Not cheap but cheaper than Mouser. Edit: Sorry doesn't answer your 3904 question

    Powersound Boost C9

So, what's the deal with C9 in this one https://www.pedalpcb.com/product/pcb530/ The silkscreen on the board has a spot for either a 4u7 or 220n cap. The schematic has 4u7. Only thing I can gather it's due to different versions of the original? Has anyone built this and does the C9 make a...

    Amp Issue

Okay so I have a Marshall JCM2000 DSL 100 from 2000. It's been my main amp. I don't go to any other forums so I thought I'd ask here. I was getting ready to practice on it tonight and all of a sudden the volume got really low. Normally a quarter up on the volume and it will blow your hair back...

    Fornicus switch labels

Is this Fornicus Overdrive https://www.pedalpcb.com/product/pcb629/ toggle switch labels the same as the retail? It appears to be from the schematic and the board traces but just want to confirm. Weight = Heavy up, Light down? Sag = On up, Off Down...

    Sheepylove Texel

This thing rules. It's unique as far as I can tell. It's designed by our own Chuck D. Bones and layed out by @szukalski I've had the board sitting around for a while but finally got around to building it. I did get custom faceplate from Dave, but I scratched it up. So, this build looks like I'm...

    Fuzzy Fox Build

Thanks dude! Okay, that verifies it. I knew no way those Ge diodes were going to be louder than those 1N4148s. Time to break out the white out

    Fuzzy Fox Build

I really like this fuzz. Very happy with how it came out. I implemented the Midrange mod on it based off this thread Here It sounds really good with the octave switch on and off. I got a set of authentic 2N3565 transistors from Small Bear. Really happy with how this came out. The mid-range...

    Turbo Rat and IC Muff

Great builds. Great idea for bypassing the daughterboard on the ICBM. I just built this, and it doesn't work properly but I think it's either something with the daughterboard or with the janky DPDT footswitch. I think I'm going to steal this idea.
