    Parasit Studio Sidescroller

The red one is now at its new home. Such a gnarly circuit. Didn't appreciate the internal sensitivity trimmer until I tried moving it around to different spots in my chain. Sounds great going into a phaser.

    DEMO Mini Heterodyne Receiver

Nice! Been curious about one of these for a long time (even bought the type 2 toggle switch), but not sure I'll ever actually use all the options. Thanks for the demo

    Parasit Studio Sidescroller

Took a long time off building then came back and built 10 pedals in the last few weeks! Someone asked me for a fuzz with up/down octave options and was keen on a Bit Commander, but the transformer for that was out of stock, so we went with the Parasit Studio Sidescroller MK2, which has fewer...

Canadians ordering from Tayda, what shipping service do you use?

For what it's worth, I asked this same question on Reddit a few weeks ago and had several Canadians tell me they had just made huge orders via DHL with minimal extra fees. One user said they just ask Tayda to mark the value on the package as low as possible, so I tried that and ended up with...

    I built a veroboard search engine 😅

This is a great idea! Those old Blogger sites aren't always easy to navigate. Thanks for sharing

My First 2-in-1 (LGSM - Triangle Muffin)

I've only done a couple of multi-builds, but should do more!

My First 2-in-1 (LGSM - Triangle Muffin)

Great colour! I mostly just go for pre-painted boxes these days then splatter/paint on the tops, so good for you for putting in the effort. Combo builds are fun and addictive. Bet there are some nice tonal options with that pair.

    Ruined Board?

Good luck! Show us the finished build when you're all done.

    Ruined Board?

Worst case you may have to make the connection yourself with a wire from #3 to wherever that trace goes (can't see from the picture, as it's blurry on the side, but you may be able to follow it just by looking at the board).

    Ruined Board?

I'd be surprised if it didn't still work fine. You could always do a continuity test between the various points on the board to make sure no traces were cut, just in case.

Canadians ordering from Tayda, what shipping service do you use?

No DDP option for me, just warnings of extra duties/fees (or Thailand Post). Going to do some more math on options and maybe change the order up a little to get just what I need right now.

Canadians ordering from Tayda, what shipping service do you use?

Thanks! Yeah DHL seems like a nightmare these days. (Apologies for the extra thread---making a new one seemed like a good idea at the time).

Canadians ordering from Tayda, what shipping service do you use?

Oh yeah, I don't expect duties on Thailand Post, but didn't expect it to be $60 either, so I was curious if other Canadians have found luck with the couriers, as at least then I'd get the parts quickly. I'm just scared of all their hidden and increasing fees.

Canadians ordering from Tayda, what shipping service do you use?

About to place my first Tayda order in a while and shipping is up to $60 for Thailand Post, which used to be my go-to before it got more expensive. Any Canadians ordered recently using DHL or Fedex? Curious if it's worth trying my luck with duties/fees, as I imagine it might be similar in cost...

    EEPROM programming hardware

This is what I use as well. Works well enough, but I'm no expert.

    Solder Fume Extractor?

I also built one using a computer fan and some carbon filters. Works well enough if I'm pretty close, but I may look at something more powerful eventually

DEMO Sproing Deluxe (PPCB + J. Rockett Boing) - Demo Added

This sounds lovely. I don't need another trem or reverb, but might have to give this a shot.

    Dumb mistake.

I've still got a mislabelled Rainbow Machine that stares at me every day. I keep thinking of ways to fix it without redoing the entire paint job, but never work up the guts to actually try, so it just laughs at me.

    Dynamic/Touch-sensitive tremolo (Night Wire, etc.)?

Good to know. There's also a layout for it over at Tagboardeffects, so I may try that if I feel ambitious one day.

    Dynamic/Touch-sensitive tremolo (Night Wire, etc.)?

Ah! Misread that, sorry. Looks like they are sold out currently anyway. I pulled the trigger on the Blue Warbler for now, but will probably try the Old School eventually.
