What’s your settings on the semi-sweet? That’s a tricky pedal to figure out for some reason. The tone controls just interact so much together.

Hell it took me a while to figure out the EHX Switchblade Pro…until I realized one of the A/B foot switches wasn’t working properly. Unloosened the nut a tad and it worked. It’d have been a great pedal if the impedance or noise issues weren’t there. Not sure what it was about it but it wasn’t...

So basically loops a and b are your parallel loops and c is your dry signal path? Sounds the same as the Xotic X Blender but it only has 1 parallel loop that you been in with the dry. Edit to say wait I just re-read the description and that’s a mind F*** lol.

Wow nice build…sounds just like it! Can’t believe me ears picked that up over crappy cell phone and YouTube compression. There’s nothing else that I’m aware of that can do that sound though so great job on that build lol.

Where the hell am I hearing the vibrato/rotary sound coming from? Are you using a deluxe memory man on the vibrato? Seems to be coming from the repeats.

If I had my guess it’s be YouTube compression. EF86 in my experience are very punchy and chimey. They can tend to get a little wooly on the lows if the bass is too high. A good grade ef86 can make huge difference though.

Yep your exactly right. I’ve been wondering if that what TAD was using as their EF86 since they’re so abundant. I assume all of them are the same Russian tube. They look the same and all have the Russian getter. Here’s a Sylvania “made in Holland” branded and A Sed Winged c brand. Regardless...

That’s not a JJ in the photo. That’s a Russian ef86/6j32p. There several rebrands of that tube. For instance I have one that’s branded Sylvania made in Holland and a winged c branded. Pretty sure they’re all the same tube though. Most likely from the 80s
