Yeah, that’s what I thought. Scratch one LED. Curious thing (for me, at least) is that on the Magnetron schematic, it shows power coming in direct to LED 1. And when I test the voltage at the LED 1 pad, it reads 9v……….

Took it out. Doesn’t light up either way on the battery (or my transistor tester). Had another LED, tested it on the 9v battery - brief spark and now it doesn’t light up either way. 😔

Chuck, in case you weren’t following the Magnetron saga, got it fixed in “only” 50 posts. I’m improving even more! 🤪🤪

Put the new one in. No continuity put a jumper on. Continuity to both 100 and 101. Voltage is weird, though. 9v on both sides of 100. 9v on the R101 side connected to 100. 0 volts on the other side. 9v on C101+ side. 9v on IC1.1-3. No audio out…..

Well, got the 100 out. Looks like the pads are still there but no continuity to either C or R 101. Looks like a jumper may be necessary……Any advice on that? Solder in the new 100 and test? If still no continuity, then do a jumper between R100 and R101, then test to both 101’s? I tested...

Ok, really confused and showing my amateur status. With no power to the board, I get no continuity. I apply power and I get it but only if if the red lead is on 101. Solder side and leg side.

Just reflowed them…..again. No continuity On the leg side, continuity on the solder points,

solder points. can’t seem to get to get a beep between the legs……hmmmmm…. Check that, getting it now. Weird. And now not getting it. Very inconsistent.

Yes, they are 47k. Did my readings again. 9v on both sides of 100, .22v on one side of 101 and 0 on the other.

9v on both sides of R100. Good continuity between 100 and 101. And I have ground continuity on 101. Might I need to replace 101? I’ve reflowed it at least a couple of times……🤪

Tks! I only get .22v on pin 5 as well. And sorry, I, getting .22 to one side only of R101.

Yes, that’s right. Sorry. So it seems I’m lacking voltage on pin 3. I’m getting 9v on R100, nada on R101. .22v to C101.

Tks! So, should I be expecting 4.5v on IC1.3 instead of .22? The only place I have more than .36 is on pin 8 where it is 9v.
