I'm building a Mayonaise III clone, and it uses a BAT47 in line with the incoming 9V rail. I'm not finding these readily available anywhere - is there a viable substitute for this application? Thanks

Despite having several tweed-inspired ODs on hand, I've got the itch to build a CB Formula 5. Problem is, I want to ID the version of the one below, but can't seem to find a solid answer - I have all ideas it's the version 2. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks guys - turns out I need to order a few things for another build, so I'm going to pick up a 500R trimmer as well. Sorry - I get OCD about things like this, wondering if it would sound 'better' after the fact, if I had the 'right' part in there.

Stupid question, as I can (probably) adjust DOWN to the necessary range using a 1K trimpot. I'm just not sure if there is a 'sweet range' and it needs a 500R to dial it in easier. If you can't tell, I don't have a 500R at the moment and I'm itching to get this done this weekend. :cool:

I'm almost done with my Derailer build, with the exception of the 2.2uF MLCCs (caps C12, 13 & 14). I've heard too many things about X7Rs having issues with capacitance drift when voltage is applied; I picked up some 100V X7S caps for these spots, but want to run it by the forum before soldering...

Ibanez FL99 Classic Flange - can do subtle, jet plane or filtered for that vocal, Eric Johnson 'High Landrons'-ish sweep. I'm working on the work-alike from DeadEndFX now.

I LIKE what I've heard (wattage scaling, reverb, effects loop, bass cut), but that price is steep. I'm saying that as a TM Deluxe Reverb owner. Folks like being able to get cranked Bassman tones, though - I'll stick with my pedals for now.

Newer/higher-quality parts? Mods/tweaks on toggle switches? Better bypass? The DS-1 clone I built blows away the two MIT post-1994 ones I've owned. No desire to own a Waza version. I'd love to see what I can do with an MT-2.

You should be able to build both a BF-2 and an HF-2 from the HF-2 layout. I like the power filtering, and I was going to build a BF-2 to use for bass (Simon Gallup of The Cure reportedly uses one), but I like the bass on my Zoom multi-fx for flanging now.

Sorry I never replied back. Yep, the SK30ATM-Y worked. Still think I got this CE-5 at a steal, considering it's basically a 'time capsule', mint specimen that's dated from July 1994. The chorus works just fine, but the EQ is very subtle and I can see where the 'deep' mod can be desired...

Nice work! I'd still love to know where you guys are getting legit TA7136s. I'm using Sylvania ECG1464s, which (on paper) looks to be pretty much identical. They work great (a little TOO good, in fact), but I'd love to try the real deal just to compare.
