I could use another set of eyes and help with this idea (pickup simulator)

So far in my design, still modeling and custom building components in software for modeling purposes... Lots of spec sheets. But the game has been amp draw management, control lane management... But in a nutshell... So far:cable simulator on relay 1 (so I can use a buffered drybell vibe machine...

I could use another set of eyes and help with this idea (pickup simulator)

Yeah, was gonna skip on the garbage collector. Still thinking vactrols to avoid stepping (using the 5c3 instead of 1 so swells are more human). I've even considered doing it all on vero boards so I can can use two separate transformer daughter boards to better truly simulate sc vs HB and...

I could use another set of eyes and help with this idea (pickup simulator)

My setup is a pedal rack for studio use using ml10x loop switchers. I want the option of automating volume swells from a daw... I'm thinking the oscillator devices goblin might be the ticket. (Edit) Oh, also already have pickup simulators with knobs... And I enjoy parallel distortion chains...

I could use another set of eyes and help with this idea (pickup simulator)

This is the amz solution, with tone stack, but wanting to be able to remotely switch and control. I've not experimented with vactorals and expression pedals so just trying to make sure the concept is valid B4 digging in-or if someone thought another method of midi control would be better, yadda...

I could use another set of eyes and help with this idea (pickup simulator)

Have you played a fuzz face (particularly germanium one) after a buffered signal? Let's say you placed one right after a guitar, have you experienced it reacting to different pickups? Tone pots? Volume pots and position? GIve it a go. We can find pedals that use a transformer to solve those...

I could use another set of eyes and help with this idea (pickup simulator)

My goal is a midi controlled pickup simulator. I have oscillator devices trash pandas and garbage collectors, so really just need an externally controlled device (using expression and tap). I have no experience with vero/strip board design so off the shelf as much as possible is ideal.... now if...

Isosceles boost - no sound, unable to read voltages?

Hey. Did this ever get resolved? I'm having this exact issue with my equilux mini builds and any insight would help. Was it an input to ground issue?

    Muzzle parts...

Sorry to bring up and older thread but I was hunting information and stumbled upon this info Or so says google ai " The E4 designation on Texas Instruments (TI) products indicates that the device contains a precious metal, such as silver, gold, nickel-palladium, or nickel-palladium-gold. The...

Tayda UV printing - On screen color different than print. Color profile problems?

So what I do is stick to pantone values, both in enclosures and my own colors. You can use a pantone to hex converter. For anything that the color isn't specified I use a color picker browser extension that gives me hex values, but it can be a little tricky due to shadows/highlights. Now you...

Adapter ring to make 1590BB enclosure deeper (STEP file download in thread)

Honestly, just using adhesive backed copper shielding would probably be enough with an opaque plastic for aesthetics.

Adapter ring to make 1590BB enclosure deeper (STEP file download in thread)

That's what I thought. I opened the file in an online editor for a printing service and thought I had messed up somehow. Oh well, thank you for the consideration.

Adapter ring to make 1590BB enclosure deeper (STEP file download in thread)

Sigh, I've hunted and hunted but can't seem to find a solution. I have an Aionfx Straylight coming up in my queue and Tayda only has the 1590bb2 that I think I can get away with if I had a spacer (Want the ability to UV print obviously). If anyone can help me get an adapter ring made It would...

Long 6/32 screw broke off in powder-coated enclosure hole, stuck

Try to make it a practice to always use a center punch before using a drill with metal. A wood screw or hardened nail can be used in a pinch with softer metals.

Long 6/32 screw broke off in powder-coated enclosure hole, stuck

Also. A thread cleaner/deburring tool or tap is much harder and robust.

Ez out, aka screw extractor. You'll drill a little divot then use the reverse bit into your pilot to get it out. Make sure to tape up/mask to avoid any damage.
