really sounds like you got some " reject " J201's ..... the more I research obsolete chips and transistors ...... the more I see " beware of fakes and rejects " I've read that a lot of obsolete components out there for sale are also " factory rejects " that work ... but were scrapped for...

The Thermionic Deluxe is a sick pedal !!! The top channel is awesome ..... but the lower channel ... the way it's voiced ... plus it seems to have less gain ... I haven't even messed with the internal gain trimmers yet ... it just sounds sooooooo good .... IMO anyway ...

Interesting ...... I used Siliconix J201's in my M800's as well .... got them from Smallbear I think ... they have the white dots on top ... they sound amazing ...

I've started keeping BOM's on pedals I plan on making more than one of on Mouser .... should make re-ordering at least a little easier .... it's those initial builds ... that I order parts for ... than go to build them 3 months after the parts have arrived ... woops .... forgot the BC184 ...

I think I might have bought some bad chips .......seems all the pedals I want to build have obsolete and hard to find chips or trannies .....lol ....ugh

0V on Pin 1 8.79V on pin 4 no scope here .... All the way counterclockwise on the rate gets me 2.30V all the way clockwise gets me ( started at 2.87 V slowly climbed to 3.07 V ) yes the voltage was moving ... the rate pot doesn't seem to do much ... the voltage just really slowly climbs ...

It's staying solid for both colors .... The pedal is amplifing the signal .... but has no effect ......I'm assuming the LFO isn't moving / working .... I re checked all component values everything looks fine .... don't know what voltages I should have ... I was getting 1.95 and 1.65 on either...
