    Led tubes

I made boards like both of these for myself and they are absolutely the way to go IMO. Makes mounting the LED an absolute cinch. Highly recommended.

    Stinger Clean Drive

Wow @MichaelW, I had no idea that this was a knock-off. I should have known, I guess. I really like the tone of this pedal. Orman, Nelson and Keen are great names to be associated with the design, so no wonder it sounds good. Every pedal company is making clones of some sort, I don't reckon a...

    Bring out yer Diptrace

So I borked up a build I am working on using one of my own boards. When it didn't work I started troubleshooting, but my troubleshooting turned up no clues. In going back to my Diptrace files and the original schematic I was working from, I can see that I accidentally left out a 1K resistor...

    Stinger Clean Drive

This didn't work out as I'd hoped. Too bassy and kinda muffled as a result. Seems like it's been designed to beef up the signal hitting the preamp rather than act as its own preamp. It sounds good when used that way.

HELP! Diptrace - First try at PCB layout

Did you find this? I imported the part recently into my own library and am happy to send it to you if you still need it. It took a lot more internet ability than normal to find a working pattern on this part for some reason.

HELP! Diptrace - First try at PCB layout

Firstly welcome! You will no doubt learn a lot here, as I have. There's no real concern for mounting I/O hardware or other things on the board, it's just that the more items on the PCB, the harder it is to get a good layout with simple routing and short traces. 3PDT switches are taller than...

    Stinger Clean Drive

Happy Easter folks! I had some free time on Easter Sunday, so I got out the Six String Stinger board I've been waiting to put together. The build went fairly smoothly, although I need to get more solid core hook-up wire or some pre-tinned stranded, as the stranded I was using was annoying and...

    Bring out yer Diptrace

Yeah I do similar, set it to "unpoured" so that I can see things well. Also handy when checking the 3D model.

    Bring out yer Diptrace

Here's a fabricated board for my Rat clone, which has some clipping options added to the circuit and some bass control. Pretty sure I lifted the bass knob idea from a thread on this forum 🤔😅 I'm really happy with the boards from JLCPCB.

Combination of Rullywow and my own, which is mostly edited Rullywow parts plus things I've needed to import.

    Bring out yer Diptrace

Looks good @Big Monk . Just wondering though if you have traces running the same path on opposite sides of the board just to the left of the Gain pot? I've been told that it's best to avoid that if possible. What are the baked-in features? I would love to hear more about this circuit!

    Bring out yer Diptrace

I tried OSH Park to begin with - awesome quality but a little more expensive. Located on your continent, I believe. But like the others, I mostly use JLCPCB. Cheap, but still good quality. Postage to Australia is also pretty slow, but I choose the cheapest postage option, so that's probably on me.

And this one is a Nobels ODR-S clone with added clipping mods which I have finally managed to condense into 125B format after many failed attempts. Happy days!

    Bring out yer Diptrace

Not to spam the thread, but I worked on this today and feel pretty happy with the outcome. It's a Boss DS-1 circuit, but with the Wampler JCM mods baked in, which is mostly capacitor value changes that thicken the tone. BW gives two suggested gain options for his mod, both of which are available...

    Bring out yer Diptrace

Hey thanks for the cool designs and responses, I look forward to seeing more! I do find the schematic to PCB workflow helpful, but I don't find autoroute that useful unless I'm running out of ideas on a particular trace. If I do use autoroute, I'm more likely to use it to route one net at a...

    Bring out yer Diptrace

Inspired by @JamieJ and others on here rolling their own PCBs, I thought it would be fun to have a place on the forum where people share the cool stuff they're working on in Diptrace. Other PCB programs are more than welcome, I would love to see what circuits you're cooking up and how you're...

    Addiction to DipTrace

Also Jamie, how are you doing those diagrams with the pedal inside the enclosure? It looks better than my clumsy way of working out the internal layout 🤔

    Addiction to DipTrace

I can't at all help with your addiction, because I've gotten myself similarly addicted. My Instagram is mostly images of my DipTrace boards, with the occasional UV printing design thrown in and sometimes the odd actual pedal. I can recommend the Greer of Tone combo like the one I built...
