    Anyone every try de-soldering FV-1 chips? (how much heat can they withstand?)

    I just de-soldered a couple FV-1 chips from a board I wasn't going to use. The process was pretty quick but they were definitely too hot to hold after. My plan was to use this on another board. However, now I am wondering if I should just buy new chips and solder those because I don't want to...
