Theres a mod to make it a little less bright by connecting a cap between the legs of the transistor. I have a 1nf under mine and still run the low cut about 9oclock. I run about 3pm gain on my duocast, but the volume around 8-9oclock. Sounds great to me though...

Yeh I had been meaning to look into the footswitch as well. I think I saw Tayda had some footswitches like this one https://www.taydaelectronics.com/4-pins-spst-momentary-soft-touch-push-button-stomp-foots-pedal-switch.html And that maybe I could clip the outer ones off, needed to look into it...

I always write these things as I think of them and not really thought out. For the lowtide is anyone aware of a relay bypass board I can buy that would fit in the lowtide around the PCB which takes up most of the 1590bb? Or perhaps I need to order a 1590bb2 and the extra depth would allow me...

Two questions really. I've been jamming basic relay bypass boards into my pedals recently, and two I'd like to update, the lowtide obviously has not a lot of space to put it in, and the duocast has a channel switch - can I use the basic relay dpdt switch? or one of the intelligent relay modules...

Relay working after changing out the transistor and going over it again to make sure everything was connected. Now I have to fit this rats nest back into the box -I think the issue is that it needed a ground connection between the two lower jacks & or that the wrong transistor on the relay...
