All Time Most Bestest Favoritest Chorus You Have Owned , Played or Heard?

Good news, you don't have to die. The pedal works 100% without the app. The app just adds more sounds and let's you do deep editing. Menu diving isn't for everybody.

2.54mm Pin Headers for SIP Sockets

@Nostradoomus This........ Into this....... Or into this........ Into this....... Every 2.45mm male pin header I've found has pins that are too big for the SIP sockets I have. I found out that the 2.0mm male pin headers have a pin head circumference of .8mm (datasheet), do fit. Just...

2.54mm Pin Headers for SIP Sockets

Anybody know where to find pin headers with 2.54mm spacing and .8mm circumference? Looking for something that fits sip sockets. Tired of soldering clipped off resistor legs. The 2.0mm Tayda pin header's pin will fit into the socket, but the spacing doesn't allow more than one socket. I really...

All Time Most Bestest Favoritest Chorus You Have Owned , Played or Heard?

I bought a Source Audio Lunar Phaser a few years ago and you can plug it into your phone to use their Neuro App. Majorly heavy tweaking can be done, but they also have a community that can post pedal settings which you can download to your pedal. Since the pedal I bought is in a line of pedals...

Stuff you wanted to know but were afraid to ask

I've been using smd jfets more recently and have been soldering them as one of the last steps while populating the board. I know some components are sensitive to heat (IC chips/transistors), but is it okay to solder the smd jfets as a first step, before there are components in the way of the...

    Delay in wah enclosure?

Look Mum No Computer is definitely a solid channel on YouTube.

Has anyone built the Death by Audio Synthesizer album?

Should be able to put it in any enclosure that fits it, most likely a custom enclosure. There are 2 work-arounds for mounting above the components. Depending on the tallest component, you could use "Tall Leg" potentiometers, if you want everything mounted to the board. Or you can just wire...

Funny business with 1% film resistors, not being close to 1%

Absolutely zero offense taken, I didn't think that in the least bit. Thank you for taking the time to put together a very educational response. I learned a ton from that.

Funny business with 1% film resistors, not being close to 1%

It measures everything perfectly fine, pf capacitance is a crap shoot. Most measures below spec on my old DMM. I'm gonna test some on my TV and another tester I have this weekend.

Funny business with 1% film resistors, not being close to 1%

Off/on topic, any time I buy any pf/pico caps, I always buy higher than what I need. If I need 47pf, I buy 68pf. Need 100pf, buy 120pf. Doesn't matter if I buy from Tayda or SBP, every mlcc cap I test is always at the bottom of specs. I buy 100pf, all but 1 test between 80-83, and that 1 tests...

    Powersound Boost C9

@VanWhy let me know how that works out. Just built that board last weekend and was curious about that as well.

Halp! How Do I Wire Up This 3PDT Board?

I love using those blue 3pdt boards and I have a ton of them. PPCB boards are very easy to hook up to PPCB boards, they blue boards make it a little easier to hook up to anything else. Definitely recommend making a voltage inverter board.

    Module8. Anybody built one?

And how could I forget a name like that? Always making sure credit is given, especially when it's something as cool as this, @Paradox916 is the mastermind of this super awesome/useful board. @jcpst if you want a board for an fv-1 project, I can dig one out for you. There's no way I'd every use...

    Module8. Anybody built one?

I have a few extra boards laying around that do exactly this. I can't remember who here created the boards, but they shared the files and I got some from jlcpcb. Add one of the boards to my Arachnid so I can switch between 2 eeproms

Anyone compared the sound of the Sceptical Buffer to the 29 pedals EUNA?

Just buy the board from here, build it, play it. It sounds awesome and I use it all the time. Especially love using every toggle engaged with clean guitar and some reverb.

    Germanium Transistors for Fuzzrite

https://www.ebay.com/str/sovcom eBay is usually not a best place at all to buy any electronic components from. But some brave souls here have found a few reputable sellers. This is one of them, based out of Poland I believe. Just order a ton of transistors, diodes, and some cool looking "straw...

    Two Tone Fuzz transistor layout?

Just buy the transistors for this pedal from SBP. One and done, sounds great. I didn't have to do any resistor biasing to make the transistors work.
