I understand... I'll take a look at the thread. Regarding the 220k, I put a 200k trimpot there and bingo! I can now control the pedal's gain a bit without affecting the fuzz sound.

Hi everyone, the pedal is really EJ only, but mine has too much gain. My transistors have an hfe of 209. Is there any way to reduce the gain without messing with the fuzz face?
