First amp build, codename “Heavyweight Champ”. In progress.

I think it is looking great. Amps are really satisfying to build. For the cloth wire, I push the cloth back and do not strip the insulation. It will still be a little frayed, but it can work well.

    DEMO EffectsLayouts.com Transmogrifying Repeater Delay

The painting is phenomenal. I really like this build report!

I like that resin finish. Looks sharp!

Acrobat parametric distortion 2P6T rotary sourcing

No. It uses 5 settings. When you get the rotary, you will see that you use a washer to set the setting on the rotary. It is straightforward.

    L5 Preamp Drive

@jcpst This file is ready for Tayda printing with all the layers included. (Before I joined the hobby, I also did not know that the pdf’s could have layers). If someone wanted to augment it, they would need to use Adobe Illustrator to make the alterations.

AionFx Straylight, PPCB Paragon Mini, PPCB splitter

@Roanacho I used the below 3mm led bezels. The LEDs will “clip” into these bezels easily. https://www.taydaelectronics.com/leds/led-holders-bezels/3mm-led-lampshade-protector-clear.html

    L5 Preamp Drive

When the file is opened in Adobe Illustrator, all three layers are seen. You are only seeing the top layer, which is the varnish/gloss layer.

    L5 Preamp Drive

Attached is the pdf for art and drill markings. A drilling template can be extrapolated from the coordinates. I hand drilled my enclosure and it worked well. Enjoy.

REQUEST Aion L5 Preamp (Newer 9vDC Version) Drilling Template?

I've got the template for the drive channel for the L5 Preamp. If that is the version you need, I'd be happy to share the UV printing file.

If you made something like my Marriage keeper, I think you could fit these two in the enclosure. https://www.pedalpcb.com/product/pcb483/ https://www.pedalpcb.com/product/pcb481/ Now, that you mention this idea….I do have the EVPreamp lying around. I think I may throw it into the enclosure! 😁

AionFx Straylight, PPCB Paragon Mini, PPCB splitter

Thanks! The splitter design was pure luck. I messed up on a UV print, but the face plate hides it nicely. The knobs were accidentally purchased, but it all worked well!

AionFx Straylight, PPCB Paragon Mini, PPCB splitter

Here are a few pedals that I recently made. The Straylight is a fabulous Univibe. I really like the cancel feature. The Paragon is made with 1S1588 and BA282 diodes. The splitter is a utility pedal.

Snuffy Fuzz (ZVEX Woolly Mammoth Clone)

I have done the Cricuit route. It does a good job, but I can give you some advice. When choosing font, pick one that that is not too thin. The thin letters can be difficult to tease out and adhere to the pedal. Initially, I tried to use acrylic to coat and seal the art to the pedal; however...

    Acrobat Parametric distortion

The PCB has the values of all the parts, so it is straightforward. 😁

    Acrobat Parametric distortion

Thanks! The font is "Good times." I would agree that capacitor leads are better than resistor leads. Tayda did the square jack hole. I misjudged the alignment, but admittedly, it was the first time that I did a non-circle shape for the drilling. It was a good learning experience.

    SMD J201 without adaptors

For all of those PCBs, I wasn’t picky about the specs and let the trimmers dial in the sound. All sounded great. Those are some great pedals.
