    In the Iron cast there is a connection between the two diode pairs, and in the mach1 there isn't. Can anyone explain the difference?

    Just came back from rehearsal. For years I played my ac30 with the inputs jumpered. The trouble with the top boost channel is that it when used with drive pedals it produces fizzy and compressed sounds. So for 4 years I just use the normal channel. And sometimes I miss the top boost channel...

    Not really a build report because I forgot to test it and no gutshots either. I left the pedal in my wifes "atelier", waiting for next weeks rehearsal. No fancy lettering. Just a DIY, upside down, reference to the British amp in box. I need to build more because I am losing some soldering...

    I play my ac30 with the normal channel. From all my DIY pedals the Chopshop, green Ringer, and Rub a dub never left my pedalboard.
