yeah I actually found the Strymon knobs and they're pretty close to perfect - not sure of the exact diameters (Im looking for about 15mm) since I dont own anything from them. But yeah, expensive. Not as bad as Mouser, DigiKey, Newark - which dont have much either.

looking for some encoder knobs - ideally aluminum, black, but have to be without "indicator" - D shaft would be perfect but I can adapt to 1/4 or 6mm these seem to be surprisingly HARD to find. ideally something like this but no top or side indicator...

I think that or a slight variation is what I used before. I built it again and I'll test to see how close. BTW how long do you wait for these to stabilize? The general consensus is "till it settles but dont wait too long". 1 min? 5 min? I know they're handling sensitive etc
