Working on a compressor pedal that calls for an LM317 and it indicates a TO220 package (the board has room for it). I ordered a few LM317's that are TO92. Ok to use? Here is the doc: GCI Compressor

Z1, Z2, Z3 call for a 1N4739A zener diode. Can I substitute a 1N5239B? its also 9V, but hoping someone can confirm.

pots and switch backwards...thats a lot of PITA desoldering. Give it a shot if you want (get a solder sucker and/or copper braid and flux). be prepared to salvage what you can and start fresh on a new board.

this was one of my first builds - i played around so much with basically every transistor i had that i wore out two sockets. was a good way to see what effect hfe/biasing had on a fuzz face circuit. the germanium version is one of my favs

Dark rift build from a month or 3 ago...I had a loose jack so tightened everything up....when I snug up the input/output jacks and they make solid contact with the case, my led will stay on all the time. pedal turns on and off and functions fine, just constant LED. obvious issue or pics...

An audio probe gives me (unmodulated) signal at C20 but not C2? I feel like this doesnt make sense.
