Unless you're mounting the transformer off board (which some builders on here have done), that's correct, it'll need to be in a deeper enclosure.

You could always go off board for the switch and put it on the back near the jacks. I love having both modes accessible, because they both give amazing tones.

I've been using Lumbergs for a bit, and have experienced this a few times, and it happened on both jacks for the pyro. I really do like them and it's a shame, but I'm definitely going to be using something else from now on because lord knows it's gonna fail at the worst time

Sure thing! The 50k was more as an insurance policy against being dumb, if you have a 20k or 25k it would probably be better, as it looks like <10k increases volume. You could also socket and choose what sounds right to you, but I liked the flexibility of having a pot

I used a ppcb trimmit board with a 50k 3362 style pot as a replacement for R19, so yes, removed r19 and put a 50k pot in it's place. Ended up around 6k as being nearest to unity, ymmv

Finally boxed up this thing. It's not for the faint of heart. The build is easy, and there are some good tones, but you gotta want it, and tweak tweak tweak. I was pretty surprised when I messed with the stability knob, because it definitely impacts the tone haha Album is Uncle Neil

I really want to put this in a Gorva C65, but the PCB is a little bit too wide to accommodate that. Can the sides be safely filed down at all or am I playing with fire?
